Community Patch - How To Install

I would like to play the game with the core Patch only and the Enhanced User Interface mod, I followed the instructions like in the manual, but I can't because the interface is glitched, the bottom left of the interface that lets you command your units, ex: tell your settlers to found a city is missing.

My Previous Enhanced User Interface mod did not have that problem, I suspect the issue is with this version of the EUI and whatever you changed to make it "compatible" with the Patch.

Who is being ignored? Also, I'm not sure I understand what you're asking about, sorry.

If you are using just the CP and EUI, you need to delete the LUA folder in the CP.

Sounds like your version of civ is not up to date. Please make sure you are on version .279 of civ.

I'm not sure, truth be told. You should post in the bug reports thread, someone with the same issue might be able to help.

Right, I deleting the entire LUA folder in the CP mod, cleared the cache/logs/data and that did not change anything.

However, I checked the EUI folder, and its missing pretty much all the LUA files.

Are you sure the EUI folder available to download is complete?

The EUI folder is specifically-labeled for CBP, not the CP. You need to download the regular EUI from bc1's page.

Won't there be compatibility issues?

I had that EUI mod before, I only thought testing your "compatible" EUI mod because I was having weird issues when playing with the CP.

example: city-states not showing the influence score anymore, having interface issues when trying to trade with other civilizations where I have to click the + all the time, the interface showing luxuries next to other civilization names I already have and therefore can't trade for, having weird pop up messages asking me If I want to attack my own cities when I garrison units inside...

If you delete the LUA folder from the CP, the UI will be EUI's.

Last point you note is a bug that was, IIRC, fixed recently in a beta.

Unrelated question, are changes like the minimal distance between cities from 3 to 4 meant to be in the CP? Sounds like something you would rather put in the CBP since it affects the gameplay.

Edit: Trying the old EUI and the CP again without the LUA folder now

I asked this in Putmalk's Vassal thread, but never got an answer: If I want to use just CP with Vassals, do I need to delete the LUA folder from both the "(1) Commuity Patch" and the "(1a) Community Patch - C4DF Addon" or just the former?

Delete any LUA files from the CP LUA folder than are in the 1a LUA folder.

Is it possible to implement a new Auto Unit Cycle so that the next nearest unit will be selected instead of jumping all over the map?

Nevermind I did it it works flawlessly now, but one question why cant I steel worker from city states? Is it feature of mod?

Thanks to this latest update I just have the most amazing, immersive, and wonderful match of my life so far! So much deep go in to the wildings now and make you feel so inside the world you are looking at: with the baths for city’s with fresh water (before the baths was for city’s without fresh water, the new way makes more sense and feels better), the new science wilding of the first era called, I think, "council", give me the chills when I start imagine my aristocrats having they reunions there (more now that the Stonehenge give one for free and not a shrine, something for what I never aim to until now that gives this wilding that is more interesting in story deep of ones civ); the new system with social policies: the idea that an authoritarian civ will not shake hands with a traditional one, at least at the first stages of the game, is fantastic and accurate historically. (In this game I have like a compact group of civs that go for tradition and only one that go for authority, imagine the trade between the kingdoms and the isolation that the other civ have to endure until he became more friendly)
For the first time in a long time, I feel that I was looking at a world that was alive and breathing, full of possibilities, joy and tragedy. Never a cultural victory was so exiting, taking my religion everywhere I can was fantastic, and the trade is much easy to have (did you change the production cost for caravans, if that’s the case is a welcome feature, I never trade because they are time consuming). Fantastic job to all in the CBP team! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS “NEW” GAME!!! *hugs*
PS: not a inglish speaker, so sorry about the tons of errors.
