computer crashes when loading or btw turns!!

hi!
I've got a pb which is becoming more and more annoying, since my computer crashes every 20 turns, or since I have to load my game like 3 times before it actually works!
When it crashes, my screen freezes, (I still can see the (static) workers, but can't move, even the mouse), the music goes on normally, then the screen turns black, and a few seconds after it gets all weirdly colored and it stays like this forever.... Can't even go back to windows to press ctrl+alt+suppr and close the game, I have to hard reboot th computer!
I really don't know what's going on! Looks like some pb with my graphic card (ATI radeon 9200 series) to me, but since I updated my drivers and so, I'm a little lost!
So if you guys could help me, that would be nice!

btw, I forgot to say, of course I tryied to re-install the game several times, but still!!

hey,
no pb means "problem"!
And I only learned english at school and by watching TV, I'm from france! Why, is it so awful, or hardly understandable?
