So it's summer and I have a new side project while I unwind before starting grad school this fall. I want to beat all 9 conquests ion at least emperor level. I've had some success, but also some failures so far, here is my current progress on each conquest. Any advice would be great.

Mesopotamia:
Not yet attempted on Emperor, beat easily on Monarch by playing as the Greeks and ignoring everyone while building Wonders. Anticipating a similar strategy to hopefully work at emperor.

Rise of Rome
Attempted twice:
First attempt, played as Rome built workers in all cities to develop crushed the Celts and gradually beat down Carthage. Wiped out all of Carthage except their holdings in former Egypt then invaded Macedon quickly destroyed most of Macedon, but stymied by culture flips. Was within about 100 points before time was up and I lost by score.
Second attempt played as Rome, again started with workers everywhere and built Temple of Artemis in Roma to help prevent flips. Hurt Celts and Carthage badly, but didn't put the resources into finishing the instead I turned to Macedon earlier. Completely wiped out Macedon but now was to far behind Persia in score to win.
Unsure of strategy for third attempt.

Fall of Rome
Not yet attempted

Mesoamerica
Easy domination victory as Aztecs on Monarch, will follow same strategy on Emperor.

Middle Ages
Whenever I play the game crashes with no warning around turn 80-90 idr exactly which.

Age of Discovery
Won easy culture victory as the Maya on emperor by building wonders.

Senogoku: Sword of the Shogun
Not yet attempted.

Napoleonic Europe
Eeked out a time Victory on Monarch as France.
Plan for emperor is mobilize economy immediately research guards then 0% science to rush units. Kill Spain+Portugal then move on Austria.

World War 2 in the Pacific
Easily swept up Islands and crushed China as Japan to pick up a Victory Point win in about 20 turns. Mobilized and used 0% science spending to rush infantry and artillery to crush China. May try to use same strategy for Deity.

As you can see Rise of Rome is my current big challenge, I just can't seem to pull it out. Also gotta find out what's wrong with the Middle Ages...

You might want to post your problem with the Middle Ages on the Tech Support forum, but crashing at that point sounds like a damaged file for something unique to the Middle Ages scenario. You might want to run a check in the editor and see if there is something becoming available at that point in the game.

I would probably agree that the Rise of Rome scenario would be the hardest to beat considering that the Persians usually start with a strong lead. Have never tried that scenario on Emperor mode myself but I usually like to play as Carthage, keep the Romans occupied around Sicily and attack Egypt and Persia.

I have never considered Rise of Rome to be hard to play (if you play as Rome you have the best units, the fastest settlers, etc. And you can make friends with everybody and send them against Carthago or Persia and keep them busy), but would be very interested in reading a good strategy tip for Fall of Rome. I always get crushed, even when playing the Huns (you fail if you loose 3 cities if I remember well).

Did you get a file missing error?
Nope, game just exits.

On less than Emperor I have beaten it quite easily, but on emperor the AI builds tons of cavalry and slows down my offensive a lot. I can still come out on top of each war but it takes so long that I can't catch up in score (score lags actual power gains really badly).

Haven't tried fall of Rome much, but it's always seemed very difficult because you start so far behind.
