Well I'm not holding any proof in my hands right now, but I'm pretty sure there was a conspiracy by this group called al-Qaeda based in Afghanistan. You may have heard of them.

I heard some guy from someplace that hates America said that the U.S. did it with secret-drone controlled robots before brainwashing the people on the planes to believe they saw Arabs and then set off a bomb in the pentagon and claimed it was a plane even though a bomb would have had the same effect on public opinion and then crashed an airliner in the middle of nowhere to throw of the investigations into realizing it was all a plan to build a huge target sign known as a pipeline through the most unstable country in the world.
And I believe them.

It's funny the "context" that we (mainly Americans) assign that thread starting statement.

It is a truism that there was a conspiracy... the conspiracy was and is among a bunch of mostly Saudi terrorists. The word conspiracy does not equal some sort of dark US Government intrigue, despite the trolling that people such as Sens. Clinton, Lieberman, and Daschle would hope can be found by leaking their little pills of poison to the eager liberal press.

The real truth about 9/11 is the following:

It was a conspiracy by special interest groups within the US government, army and agencies. Their ultimate goal, and they have achieved that, is a new war for the US military. So that they can drop all old bombs and weapons, get new funding bills for the military through congress without opposition and this way strengthen the US economy and military to new heights. Another goal was the securement of new oil fields for US use of course.
Those groups contacted and hired those so called "terrorists" to implement their plans. The next stage were the Anthrax attacks within US carried out by those groups.
Unfortunately the terrorists proved to be "too effective" and also couldn´t be completely controlled, thus resulting in the terror of 9/11. The groups withing the US were a little shocked but once the plan started they had to follow it through. The shock itself was also the reason why the Anthrax attacks were delayed for a while, the plan was to attack simultaneously.
But in the end all goals of those groups were reached, as more of their planned future developments will happen.
The whole conspiracy is not yet fully known, but it is probable that not only the highest US ranks were involved.



This should be in Humor and Jokes, not here. Even though that the topic itself is far from being funny, all those theories surely are. (Hopefully )

The most amusing conspiracy story I heard was apparantly printed in a Iranian newspaper.

The conspircay went that the attacks were carried out by the British governemnt...as part of a British conspircay to regain there empire.



As a Brit I found that quite amusing....if not a little far fetched!

Of course, it does have quite substantial proof, so it can't be ruled out that the attack on the Pentagon was in fact not a plane at all, but the American government simply claimed it was for some mysterious reason. Whatever the truth, it seems sad that some people seem to always want to come up with new conspiracy theories. Can't we put it behind us so we can ge ton with the combined Anglo-American invasion of Argentina planned for 2003- Now there's a conspiracy for you
