It was a good game, but roughly at the same time, I found civ, so I never got into it, as CIV is imo better, and if i'm in the mood of real time strategy, i'd rather go with AOM. And now that i'm aware of Europa Universalis, i don't think i'll ever go back to AOE. I remember creaming over AOE 2 though...

They released another expansion pack! Wasn't aware.

I loved AOM too. It's one of the influences on my own mod for Civ. Though if they ever do make a second AOM game, they could easily go beyond four civs. vebear mentioned Mesopotamia... I'd love to see what they'd do with Aztec, Chinese and Celtic myth.

They could get some Pagans in the game to, it be interesting playing as proto-slavic pagan gods and the Germanic's.

Carthage and Rome needs to be put in it to. :\

The game had so much potential.

actually, they should have put in the mesopotamians or aztecs or chinese in the first expansion, instead of the Atlanteans, as they were more or less based on fantasy, exept from the gods. Also, all of their myth units were taken from greek mythology. I think that the Atlanteans actually were a pretty bad idea from the creators of this game. Atlanteans? NO - Aztecs, Chinese or Mesopotamians? YES

This is exactly why I didn't even bother to get the add-on. It didn't really sound like a must-have.
If they added new civilizations- I agree, it could've been a great expansion pack. Imagine, in addition to Zeus, Ra and Thor we could also get the likes of Raijin, Quetzalcoatl, Shiva, Viracocha, Marduk and Svarog. Instead, they went to a completely boring idea.

I thought that the Titans broke the gameplay to. I really wanted the new maps though...

so I came up with a solution

Moving the Baibars discussion and development here...

He looks superb so far first of all.

Secondly, he had blue eyes and a Cataract on one of his eyes. According to his Wiki Article he was born in Crimea in a turkic tribe, so don't make him look to Egyptian. He however had darkish skin, most likely similar to my skin color (I'm brownish) like you have him right now. :)

That's one funny Thor.

Baibars is looking good. :) I found some pictures of him:

Keep the clothing color, but maybe add some detail like in the first picture.

The second picture is just showing some feather on his Turban. Thought that'd be cool.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaa????? I havent played civ in months

Technically I haven't "played" either, other than playtesting my mod but I do that with a specific purpose and sometimes have to go into worldbuilder to check up on units and stuff, so I wouldn't really call it playing. When I get my mod's next playtest out (if anyone wants to playtest the next version please PM me) I'll probably take a few days off from working on it just to play it. And I'll have to take a look at this Caesar, good to see you back here again VeBear.

I haven't played Civ for a long time too. That's why I already decided on a point when I will stop modding and start actually playing.

YES!!! Finally, after 2 YEARS of searching, i fanally grabbed my copy of BTS! FINALLY!!! This means i can do so extreamly much more. Oh god, I'm so happy :):D:king:

(Sorry for all those smileys, it's just that I am so happy)

I would have pirated it by now. :mischief:

Don't forget to patch it up.

I would also like to know how to copy and paste within blender. My current method involves just deleting everything else, exporting, undoing, then importing as many copys as I need. Not very efficient.

I would have pirated it by now. :mischief:

And of course bought an extra copy of Vanilla to pay for it to Firaxis. Eventually. :mischief:

I don't think you can copy and paste necessarily. For instance you can't open up Genghis Khan, copy his helmet, then open Catherine and paste it on her. But what you can do is highlite something in Blender and then Duplicate it. I don't think you can copy and paste it like text or an image.

Just wondering, these shaders everyone is talking about, is it the 'Has Shader' line in the nif or something else. I'm a little confused, and i hope that someone can tell me how to add those shaders if it isn't the 'Has Shader' line in the nif. I would really like to know how to add those so i could release the final version of "Jølle" soon.

Yes, it is the line you mentioned, but not only. Check Ekmek's new guide for details.
