Content Still Encrypted

Well, midnight has struck and I tried to start my copy of Civ BE which I purchased and pre-loaded from Steam. However, when I tried to start the game, it failed to start because the content is still encrypted. What do I need to do?

Try restarting Steam. It might take a few minutes, depending on how many people are also trying to unlock it.

I did that, and, of course, so many people are trying to log onto steam now that I'm unable to do so.

Depending on what Steam error code you got, you might have to temporarily disable real-time scanning by your anti-virus software.
