Convert Blue to Orange

I haven't used Fireworks in a long time, so I can't really help you there.

If you have Photoshop, or know someone that does, you can highlight the blue areas and use the "replace color" tool to change it.

Can you post the image? I want to see exactly how complex of an image we are talking about here.

Let me show you an example.

(Keep in mind, I hastily chose the area to have the color replaced. For a better effect, spend more time highlighting the areas needed.

Well, I would want it to be a light orange, but I can probably work from red...

So the dark stay dark? Good.

I will be doing with to many images.

Invision skinning eh?

If you can use a .psd file there is a GDK for the buttons. (but only for 1.2/1.3 at the moment) The button colour can easily be changed without effecting the text or icons.

Small images like that will be a little bit harder to work with because of the small amount of pixels - but it's still doable. And yes, you can choose a different tone of orange or whatever. What you are working with is the hue/saturation/brightness leves - you're not actually specifying a color.

Fireworks. I used the magic wand to select everything but the heads, then lowered the hue -160, and raised the saturation 40.

With Paint Shop Pro, (probably other softwares as well) you can due it more accurately by going to colors -->adjust hue map, or another one, (can't remember atm, but in the same menu. this way there will be little or no "banding"
