COR1.2: The un-Militaristic Celts. - SHADOW Game

This is silly administrivia - but you might want to call the saves Cor1.2_3000BC.sav or something like that. Otherwise, the save files might be called the same thing as the other thread which would be confusing. I would hate for someone to play 10 turns in the wrong game.

few comments on the save.

Please no specialists. We could even run 0% science in this part of the game.

I would change temple to Settler now and then build other warrior and worker. I usually won't build roads before I got second worker. At least not on hills.

Ugh... Switched Entremont to a setter. Removed the scientist and placed him on a bonus grassland. (Settler done in 2 vs. 3). Lux slider up to 40%. BW? I would've gone with alpha->writing->philo and gotten BW from a trade or goody hut, but too late now...

Entremont: Settler->Settler

I move the worker to a bonus tile for mining. Adjusted the lux slider.

Turn 3 - 2850BC

Started mining. Settler is in place.

Turn 4 - 2800BC

Alesia is founded! On expansion, it'll get the 2 cattle.

Turn 5 - 2750BC

Ent grows. (Settler in 5) Lux to 20%.

Turn 6 - 2710BC

Nothing.

Turn 7 - 2670BC

Northern warrior spots a goody hut!

Turn 8 - 2630BC

Alesia: Warrior->Warrior

Turn 9 - 2590BC

Woker finishes the mine.
Warrior pops the hut - 25g.

Turn 10 -

Entremont: Settler->Settler
Moved the settler towards the east. Could be built 1 NW of the dyes.

Alesia could build a temple after the next warrior. I built an extra, since we need to explore south of the capital. This could become a second settler factory, or worker factory.


I think we could fit a granary in the capital if we want, but we also need workers to get Alesia up to speed. Once we do, that's gonna be a 2nd settler factory (or worker factory).

The dotmap looks ok, except for that one city site next to a volcano. That's pretty dangerous.
