I know its an old game but it probably has more people playin it then a lot of games combined

I've been playin for about a year now (with gaps in between) and have gotten pretty good at this first person shooter (for those unfamiliar with this game ) and openly invite any of you to accompany me into servers so we can whoop some *** or get embarrased .

Of course I am in a clan, and it's the best one I've ever been in. This is because the people are awesome, I'm good at the game () and its an overall blast to be playin with people you know and have fun with.

Our clan site and no it isn't crappy like most of the clan sites out there

And the server ip of the GAMEDAEMONS!! server is 69.12.86.137:27015 and its located in Chicago I think.

just trying to get an idea of where u guys stand. "good" is such a subjective term.

I don't see the fun in CS. How is it entertaining if when one dies one has to sit out the entire round?

I'm not a big fan of CS, I really think it's over-rated, It's fun, yes, but it's not that good a game, really... It gets rather bopring, especially since one lucky shot by someone can kill you instantly.

i kinda like the heavy penalty on the death thing.

What I dont like about the game is the high twitch and shoot factor. Theres no weapon based strategies. Point and click is as far as complicated as weapons go.

Instant hitscan on weapons make games like Rb6 and CS realistic, but projectile weapons like UT and quake make it strategic and worth playing more because of skill based strategy involved IMO.

I love CS, it is just that the computer I play it on always seems to be broken. I do not belong to a clan since I am terrable at the game (best score is 20-15.)

Emp.Napoleon, try getting NNbot. For the maps that they are programmed for, they are quite good. Occasionaly they go a bit dodgey, but still better than others I have seen

Love my P90. Was never part of a clan or anything but the server I played on(dust2dust) has a lot of good guys to play against. Use to be my home away from home

So much that I'd think it'd be a waste of time typing all i know, because it would be waaaaay over ur head if u think ut has no strat.

Seriously. I can write a 500 page strategy book on UT EASILY. UT has more strategy than CS. Compare UT to CS and CS looks like a noob game with no strategy involved at all. And CS is a very strategic game.

Yeah great gun thats underrated. good ammo capacity, (50 as opposed to other 30s) light and mobile at the same time and decent dmg. Only problem is the wild inconsitent shot spreads. You could really use it well if you like to rushdown or point on narrow corners and other CQBs, but I moved onto AK47 for better long range options.

How is the new patch, is AK47 still the crazy good gun for long range as it was when i played?

AK47 and colt are good for me.

Plus, I love the scout.

is there any reason for using scout as opposed to awp now? i heard they changed something about awp some time ago.



awp used to be too broken. there was no need to use any other gn back in the day... well exception of m4a1 with scope really really back in the day...

Yes the awp is changed, you aren’t allowed to quick switch so much but a lot of people are pissed at that for some reason. The scout, imo, has always been better then the awp but that’s because I am GOD with the scout .

And, preseason for CAL is over. My clan finished 2-0-0 and regular season started last night.

We’re 1-0 (we won 14-10)
