Crash on Initializing

Hey there, have searched and searched this forum for a solution to my problem but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I have managed to install C2C and everything loads fine, I select custom game and choose my settings and click launch. However the game always seems to crash to desktop upon initializing the game. I have tried several maps and map sizes - even tiny.

I am using build 35 and have patch 3.19 installed.

Also, I am using a Windows 10 laptop with 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600.

Is there anyone that can help me out in playing this game? It looks so gooood.

The 1st time you load Caveman2Cosmos you Must give it time to load all the data. This can take several minutes and up depending upon the computer used. It looks like it's CTD'd but it has not. Wait it out. Especially on a laptop with a Core 2 Duo CPU.

After the 1st time loading the load times after are considerably shorter.

Also do you have Admin rights?

Also we have a newer version out v 36.

You should use v36 instead of v35

Also sounds like you might've needed to install 3.19 manually. DH can say more on that.
