Create a Sim (Sims 3)

I want this thread to be about the art of making Sims in Sims 3 not look like goddamn uglytards. Maybe it's just the lightning and the angle in Create a Sim (they can look sorta decent when viewed from the mirror)

Post your not ugly sims and tell us the secret on how you made them not ugly. plus points if you can make them obviously of an easily caricaturized race (blacks don't count because, well, it's too easy)

you can also discuss how ugly sims 3 sims are. my 2 cents is that this is marketed mainly for ugly people so ugly people can finally play a game where the characters are never prettier than they are; but hell, even if I were ugly I'll probably get sick (and depressed?) of only getting to play ugly people

There is no way that the typical Sims 3 character is uglier than the typical Elder Scrolls: Oblivion character

But i agree that there is a horrible trend with the 'create-a-character' modes in most modern games. Almost none of them (that also offer significant freedom) are anywhere decent w/ the end results.

But seriously, I don't think the sims in TS3 are that bad, especially ones player-made. Much better to look at that than TS2 sims anyway.

(Gen. 6/8) Compared to her brothers she's a pretty good-looking sim. In fact, just for fun I slimmed her down in CAS one day and she looked even better than her mother

(Gen. 3/5) Okay this may not be the best example seeing as his wife's hair almost entirely took over the genetics for the next four generations

None of these are from CAS of course, all born in-game. But sims born in-game generally are worse than those from CAS. It's easy enough to make decent sims, yet somehow its even easier the Sims Medieval (which doesn't even really focus on family life anyway ).

I can never really make an Asian Sim. When I make them they look more Latino than Asian.
