CS-1 - Farmer's Paradise

Guys, I just can't fit this in. RL is kicking my butt right now, and I have to leave in the morning on a business trip I wasn't anticipating. My apologies. I'll be out of town until next week.

I think we should just see this through now. It's plain sailing and won't take much longer.

I have lost any sense of roster a long time ago. You have to tell me when I'm up. :)

Sorry guys, but I'm gonna need a skip this time around.....here's what I've been posting on other threads:

Hey guys, had a death in the family and will need a skip until next thursday or so if I come up. I'll chime back in when I can play again, end of next week.

Well Sina, shall we just ping pong it back and forth to the end? Its pretty much on autopilot now anyways.

Guess that's what we have to do. :)

I got it and will play soon. There's so much football on today tht I'll have a chance to steal hubby's computer. :D

There is not much to report. Everything is going fine. Apollo is due next turn, finished research on Computers and Robotics, Satellites in 2. I started Labs in most cities and 5 or 6 are already finished. Started the Space Elevator in Yakutsk (Ironworks city), ETA is 13 turns without help from the Great Engineer we got during my turns. He is in the Yakutsk. It's either him hurrying the Space Elevator or a GA. I'd probably go for the GA when Satellites is in and start all Casings and Thrusters in the cities that already have a Lab.

I mmed to more production and less specialists, but there can be more pruduction squeezed out.

We lost the Rice for Sugar deal with Hatty. Huayna is killing her. He also just started a GA. He's the only one to watch out for. According to the trade screen we are only up Medicine on him, but I think that's buggy and we are up a whole lot more.
Broadway will finish next turn and will help with happiness. Rock N Roll is being built in Damaskus and needs 7 turns I think. I didn't prioritize it and built a Lab there inbetween. I would also asign a spaceship part to it before finishing the wonder.

Off Topic: I started the same variant with Freddy on Monarch last week and won it easily as well. It's insanely powerful with this start and all the GP you get along the way.

Sheesh, glad to hear you're back home! I'm going to slot back in after Woe, so you can just come in after me. Sound good?

And Woe, it looks like you only played 5 turns? Do you want to play the other half of your set?

Sorry, no go ahead. My amazing skill at simple counting continues to astound even me. Besides, I wouldn't want to hog all of a golden age now would I?

Ok, I'lll get to it this weekend. What does the team want to do about the new patch? I'm thinking I'd like to just epgrade and get it over with, but I'm willing to work around that if everyone wants to stay at 1.52.

I have been patched without wanting it. Hubby didn't know he should wait. Should have written a note and attached it to the screen!

So playing 1.61 is juuuust fine for me.

Turn 1 - Damascus finishes Rock and Roll, so I start it on the Eiffel Tower. (The historian in me is confused by the backwardness! :p)

Turn 2 - Fiber optics comes in, and fusion is queued, so I just go with it.

Turn 4 - Refrigeration and genetics are queued, after fusion comes in. Space elevator finishes, and I'll use the engineer to part rush Three gorges. I see this in between turns and get worried for a minute. We're so close and a war would suck. It turns out Hatties score is zero now!

Turn 10 - Genetics is in, I go for (I've already closed the game and forgotten) the last tech we need for spaceship parts. It's two turns. The game will probably be finished on the next turnset, especially if we go to Suffrage. Here's our progress.
