CS at war with own puppet

As per attached save.

Edinburgh owns the puppet of Yaroslav, it is currently at war with this city and bombarding its own pikeman (rather Yaroslav is bombarding Edinburghs pikeman)

Edin CS is also allied with Russia - yet at the same time at war with Russia.

I'd post a screenshot - but it doesn't seem to work like civ4.

Above save is around T194.

During turn 195 a message indicates Edinburgh has been captured by the Edinburgh, at the turn end the game crashes - reproduceble.

I'm pretty annoyed to have wasted 4-5 hours and have now this game unfinishable, due to what appears to be a fundemental programming error, basic rules of the game????

Thanks for reporting this problem and including a save file.

I played the save file four times. I see that Yaroslav' (owned by Edinburgh) is bombarding an Edinburgh Pike man. I also see that Russia is both allied and at war with Edinburgh (see attached thumbnail). The game crashes every time at turn 196 or so. However, I never saw the "Edinburgh defeats Edinburgh" message, though it's clear it is at war with itself. Will move to the Confirmed Bugs thread.
