Aparently, Notts County were the team which had been promoted / relegated the most and I do not believe much has changed in the last 10 years!!
So i'll go with Notts County.

willemvanoranje said:I'm not sure I understand the question.. you are saying that in the season 1989/90 there were two teams that met a lot in San Siro for various competitions and those players played all/most of those games right?
So I'd go with AC Milan and Internazionale, and as players I'll start with Van Basten, Baresi, Maldini..

FYI. It was about all leagues in England. They have been Relegeated 15 times and promoted 14. I found this here. It is the first part of the trivia section. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notts_County_F.C#TriviaShabbaman said:What league are we talking about then? MCdread said:It was badly phrased: I mean 6 players (3 + 3) that met a lot against each other in san Siro for different teams and competitions. But always the same group of 3 against the other group of 3, no matter the competition. Your track leads to the right one.

and I'm guessing we need 3 players for Sampdoria?
Hitro said:Milan: Rijkaard, van Basten, Gullit
Inter: Matthäus, Klinsmann, Brehme
MCdread said:Correct. They'd meet in the round of 16 of the WC for Holland and Germany respectively.
Hitro said:That is correct. Your turn.
