Are people still ok to use DropBox?

Ok so back in July it looks like I started to make a separate editor to the one that's in-game, at the moment I'm not entirely sure why :s, I'll look into this.

Here's a quick recap of the features/items I was working on.

Not sure if people saw the start of the city screen.

I was working on a map of the world, I remember getting most of it done, but it appears I may have lost it. So will have to start again.

I got start locations in and working, I also started work on city placement.

I also started work on being able to setup scenario properties, etc.

Here's a list of editor features that are currently implemented:

Map creation ( Working ):
  • Terrain
  • Relief
  • Resources
  • Start Locations

Map creation ( Not working):
  • City placement
  • Tile properties
  • Scenario properties

Game features implemented to some degree:
  • Unit Movement
  • City Building
  • City Growth
  • City worker placement
  • Unit Construction (No UI to set what builds)
  • FOW

There's probably some things I've forgot.

I shall upload the latest code I have to drop box.

Regards,
Jimmy

I've never uninstalled the DropBox, I've just disabled it to prevent me accidentally deleting stuff from anybody else's computers.

I wouldn't worry about making any sort of 'realistic' maps for now, just a trial one that demonstrates how features work would be nice.

Glad to read this project is alive :)

Lets hope that people are still up for the idea.

Well I was going to use it for a WWII scenario, and i'm sure it will be handy for other people.

Going to be working on adding cities, borders etc
