Now that I am not beset by the countless spawn of Conan in the first thirty turns (thanks!), I have a question relating to game setup.
I want to be able to create a game within the following parameters:
I had hoped that "The Acknowledgment" game option would only affect the slots I designated completely random, but it also affected the alignment-restricted slots. And of course, there isn't an option to generate a single random minor leader.
I'm thinking the solution would be in learning one of:
Any thoughts or tips are sure welcome.

I want to be able to create a game within the following parameters:
- A normal Erebus-style map script, standard size
- Allowed to choose my civ and leader
- Have a distribution of six major leaders by alignment, 2 Good/2 Neutral/2 Evil*
- Two or perhaps three additional random minor leaders.
I had hoped that "The Acknowledgment" game option would only affect the slots I designated completely random, but it also affected the alignment-restricted slots. And of course, there isn't an option to generate a single random minor leader.
I'm thinking the solution would be in learning one of:
- How the "random <alignment> leader" works and making a "random minor" option myself
- Whether and how map scripts can designate players, negotiating my lack of Python understanding
- How if possible to create a version of "The Acknowledgment" that doesn't affect the alignment-specified random slots (this is what I'm currently looking at)**
- What sacrifice will let me bask in the omniscience of the everlasting Creators as they rend time and space asunder to help this picky player!
Any thoughts or tips are sure welcome.
**EDIT: Okay, that is not going to be within my skills for the foreseeable future.
