"I will teach you, then, and anybody else who wishes to learn true martial arts," you tell the children (+3 Orthodoxy). You instrict them to sit, and wracking your brains for your initial teachings from the Tsui-Ga-Chao school, you bid them to sit cross-legged and begin some breathing exercises.
"This is boring!" whines one of the children. "I thought we were going to learn to fight!"
"Yeah, Master Clay taught us to kick ass!" says another. You wonder where they learned that language, but another child cuts them off.
"Hey, shut up!" he says. You realise it was the young boy who was tugging on your robes earlier. "I want to learn something!"
In light of this apparent revolt by some of your students of fifteen minutes, you decide that you will teach them...
A: ...almost exclusively how to fight - unarmed combat, and some neigong tricks you are familiar with. Philosophy and morality can fall by the wayside - knowing the sound of one hand clapping won't help if they come at you with a knife.
B: ...almost exclusively philosophy and morality, to support their understanding of pugilism. What good is physical balance when your moral balance is off center?
C: ...a mix of both combat and philosophy. A quick body is necessary for a quick mind, but to fight is misguided when one doesn't know why.

Notes: Sorry about the short update, I sat down to start writing before I realised it might be interesting to make this choice. I'll probably have the next update up fairly quick to compensate.
The bad news is that this is going on hiatus for a few weeks.
The good news is that this is going on hiatus for a few weeks because i am going to asia to learn mastery of the martial arts from wise pugilists so I'll probably have a ton of inspiration when i get back.
"Settle down," you say to your apparent students, "To know how to move requires you to know how to think. To know how to think requires you to know how to move. All things require balance, and a little bit of each other." Rummaging around Clay's personal effects, you find a brush, ink, and some paper. "Consider the Yin and the Yang," you say, as you draw the symbol. "Each is in harmony with the other, but they also have a little bit of each other within them."
Over the next few days, you begin teaching your students, alternating between breathing exercises and philosophy and the basic forms of combat. On the second day, you notice Clay awkwardly shuffling in with the students. He acknowledges you with a low bow - a student bowing to his master. He joins the children, and over the next few days he is as attentive and respectful as any you have ever seen.
Through the children's insightful questions, you find yourself learning as well - avenues that you never thought to explore. You think to yourself that this is perhaps how your masters got so wise, though you don't think your questions helped Master Yi any. (+1 Wisdom).
However, on the fourth day, much fewer of your students arrive. On the fifth day, barely any - Clay and three other children. You suppose their parents have been pulling their children out now that they do not have the teacher they paid for. On the sixth morning, no students have arrived at all, including Master Clay - which is a surprise, since you have been using his rooms.
After paying down another 1 gong for your rooms and board, you consider what you will do now.
