Sorry guys, I though I would be able to pull this off, but I have to learn over one hundred words for French class, and write no papers for tommorow (no joke).

I'm really sorry. Give me a skip, and next time, I'll be able to play!

I'm gonna be gone a week guys, but please keep at it, we're doing great and things are still looking bright for the game. See yaz in a week.

Preturn:
A monument in our capitol seems very low priority. Its only 20 shields, but its only benefit is to provide a single culture a turn. Our capitol border has already expanded twice and so won't be affected. I would rather have 1/3 of our next city (or a unit - remember our capitol is the only spot that can build Vet units. I switch to a Hardy clan (Other choices would be a unit or a slave market to boost shields).

I also raise the Lux rate to keep Quito growing. Nothing really wrong with the way it was. I just want to get our lands filled before the AI shows up to grab them. I am not sure I am choosing right, but it is what I will go with. I can still run max (50%)science and be at -1 gold.

Everything else looks good to me.

IBT:

975 BC: Worker will connect up the silks. We need the Lux based on my decision above. Border expansion will include it in 4 and road will finish in 6 turns.

IBT:
Machu Picchu: Galley->War Galley (as we discussed).

950 BC: New Galley will head toward America.

IBT:

925 BC: Dial Science to 10% Pottery comes in next turn.

IBT: A barb is rummaging about. Get Pottery and start Fermentation

900 BC: Our first ship spots a light blue border (not America)

IBT:

875 BC: Trade Pottery for Mysticism and 30 gold. Slavery and Sailing and 44 gold gets us Scrape Mining. Naval Warfare and 40 gold gets us Writing. We are now equal to Tibet in Tech.

A second unit in Quito allows us to lower lux by 10%

IBT: We apologize to Tibet for the intrusion into their land.

850 BC: Start to move troops to take out the barb buzzing around our lands.

IBT:

825 BC:

IBT: Silks connected. Our first Lux. Finish Fermentation and start toward Poetry with research into the Caste System.
Quito: Clan->Serf

800 BC: Tibet has no new techs so I don't trade Fermentation.

IBT:

775 BC: Finally kill that Pesky Barbarian.
The iron is in a lousy spot, but we will want it. The clan will head that way now the Barb is gone.

IBT:
Cuzco: Hardy Clan->Archer

750 BC: The hardy clan will move to the red dot in the map I posted above.

Notes:
Quiet turn. Met another Civ which is good. We need to find another to better our trades.
America Has galleys now, so there is a small danger of attack. Capitol may want to build a few units.

Macdandee, you are up! For the iron settler, there really is no good spot. Just pick where you think is best. One option would be right on top of the iron so noone can bombard it.

The serf in Quito is so we can start the long road to the iron. We have time before we can build anything with it. If we get lucky Tibet will go up that path so we can trade for it (I am assuming if multiple techs are tradable we go for the one that helps with the nearest dead end tech - but if there is only one then we simply trade).

But culture would need to expand two times from any of the hilles, and just once from the forest. I know we can use colonies, but it's better to have it in our territory as well.

Preturn--Looks good, Quito to serf, Cuzco to Eagle warrior. Americans are up Caste System and Urbanization, we are up Writing and Naval War. We are up Fermentation with Tibet. Hit enter.

T1(730bc)--Southern settler heading to the forest with escort, northern to the sheep/elephant hill. Galleys moving on. Whenever the worker gets near a barracks (or the capital) remember to upgrade it to a serf.

T2(710bc)--Tibet goes up Caste System, we are only 2 turns away and I'm hoping to keep fermentation to perhaps trade to one of his neighbors. Let me know which way you'd have gone on that one.

t3(690bc)--Eagle warrior to eagle warrior in Cuzco.

T4(670bc)--Caste system comes in, Mythology in 8. Palace Garden message. Serf in Quito to Hardy Clan. Americans are
building Stonehenge.

T5(650bc)--Cuzco eagle warrrior to forge. Found Chimbote, building monument in 20. Fermentation price is staying constant with Tibet.

T6(630bc)--Found Cupisnique, Monument in 10. Americans up Mythology on us, we get it in 5.

T7(610bc)--nada.

T8(590bc)--Barb spotted near Chimbote.

T9(570bc)--Wargalley completes in Machu Pichu to Hardy Clan. Chan Chan Hardy Clan to Worker Housing. Tibet up Urbanization - fermentation + 17gp for it. The wargalley is headed around to try to interdict the americans
galleys. Barb is dead. Settler is heading to the hill north of the sheep along the river.

T10(550bc)--nada.

Final--City placement is a little awkward, I wanted to be on the river, on a hill if possible, and near the sheep. Looks like we can get a couple on the east side of the mountains along the central river. The forge in the capital and worker housing in Chan Chan are both vetoable, I tend to go for early shield upgrades. There is a barb camp somewhere west of Chimbote. Could probably do with a little more military out of Cuzco, then another settler (or the other way around).

The save

Got it.

Im at work at the minute and wont be able to play till later tonight.

I take it the game plan is more exploration and expansion and keeping an eye on the Americans?

What happened to Keiji? Did he ask for a skip and I missed it? Keiji, are you there?

I think you should take it Gogf, and then if Keiji is around and didn't ask for a skip, then he should take it. It looks like he was supposed to take a turn earlier.

I will be out for a week and a half around thanksgiving. I will put the times in my sig.

oppps... looks like i got a bit excited and jumped in before Keiji  sorry!!!

Also, just to let you know, im having PC problems at home at the minute, i got to rebuild. I should be back up and running before this gets back round to me, but if not, i will need a skip.
