Greebley,

Good point on the worker housing-forge thing, it was not as cut and dried a decision as it apeared in my write up. Seems that the tech restrictions were going to keep us from the next age for longer than usual, so I thought it was a decent investment. I need to do better notes as I go along to try to get a more fully explained write up.

What do you think about the path I took on the tech trading? I'm curious how others would have handled it.

I think your trade on the techs was good. Not sure what I would have done either. I do agree Lanteen was too much, and you followed the variant as well as one could. The variant itself seems fine in theory, but gets very akward and confused when it comes to tech trading.

Ok. Wasn't sure if you knew that the housing expired. You may be right about it taking a while to get to the next age due to the Variant.

I'm playing at this very moment, I'm at turn 6 now. Nothing much to report 'cept that we have met the Sioux who are thankfully a bit behind in tech.

Cool :)

Glad we are meeting new civs.

I think in this game we shouldn't be afraid to gift AI's techs in the hopes that they increase our trading potential (hold back a few optionals to trade and then use those to trade for whatever the civ researches).

Its a good way to get the non-optional (and optional) techs we really need a bit earlier.

Damn, just missed you. Sorry.

I just saw your post late last night, and descided to respond this morning, but I guess I forgot :(.

If you want to skip me, I understand. If you want me to play, I'll do so.

I feel like such an idiot :(. Sorry, I had too much homework, and can't do it tonight. I will play the second I get home from school tommorow (unless you want to skip me, which I could understand :().

Now I feel even worse :(. We have a history test tomorrow, that we were told about today. Sort of like a "Pop-test," but we get a day's warning.

I really feel like I'm becoming incredibly unstrusted. I also just feel terrible for taking so long :(. I may be able to play in the morning before school, I may not. I'm so terribly sorry.

Gogf - No worries, I second Greebley's comments on the subject.

That was some serious tech trading Keiji, makes me rethink my whole worker housing idea. I think there are still a couple ancient techs to get, and then...can't remember off the top of my head but seems like 2 dead end techs we have to get in the next age before we can even think about getting feudalism. Probably more of a wash than I originally thought, but I sure like the combo of the added industry and happiness for the price.

Looking forward to seeing your turns when you can get to them Gogf.
