D-Backs lead series!

Hell no...I am sure not a Yankees fan. Go Diamondbacks!!!!!

It was great to hear those Yanks talk about the spoiled DBacks and there swimming pool at BOB. Maybe Yankee Stadium will get one next year!!!!!!!!

Alright alright alright!!! Being that Curt and Randy have games one & two in the bag, I'm feeling a lot better about their chances. But they still need two more wins to bring it all home. And with three games ahead of them in the Bronx, that's no small task. As much of a D-Backs fan as I am, I don't see Anderson getting a win in the Big Apple (or anywhere else for that matter). And I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't be surprised to see Batista get a win in this series too. Their offence is just too inconsistent (although they won games one & two quite handily). Not to mention that more often than not lately, the bull pen seems to be more of an asset for their opponents. I think that Schilling & Johnson are going to be the only D-Back hurlers to bag W's in this series. They're both going to get two starts. Which at this point gives them a big advantage. I say D-Backs in six.

GO D-BACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you learned nothing in the last 5 years. Don't count out the Yanks just yet....Oakland made that mistake, earlier in the playoffs and now the only way they can go to the Series is if somebody gives them tickets to the game...

YANKEES SUCK!!!

I've always hated them. I wouldn't root for them even if they were playing the Braves (who really suck too.) I've never been a Diamondbacks fan, but hey, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

...Now if only the Phillies could get their s*** together...

Oakland was a bunch of scared kids, the veterans of the Arizona club will not let this one get away. Schilling and Johnson will carry Arizone to the championship.

1 down 3 to go.......

WHo me?

Yep! I HAVE got CIV games 1 and 2!!
And I hope get 3 very soon!!!

Cool eh!!

But who is randy?

just a side note. my original name to this topic was:

It takes more than 9 yanks to beat my Johnson.

meaning randy johnson, of course, but one of the moderators thought it was innappropriate. i think maybe they just need to get their mind out of the gutter!:D

believe it or not, my manager at sardella's pizza and wings(43rd and cactus)(im working tonight, come on down and visit me) was wearing a KUPD(arizonas real rock) shirt that said just that(the 9 yanks thing). hes pretty cool. \

but anderson had a pretty good game last night. its just that the dbacks couldnt score any runs. i think they have a good chance of winning tonight, too. even if lopez was pitching. the yanks seem to be having a hard time of putting together runs...

btw, anyone notice johnson wearing the metallica hat for his interviews? thats pretty cool.

That's two....

And a loss for the D'Backs with Schilling starting is a serious blow...what was Brenly thinking pulling him out of the game...

Oh dear, the yankess finally found a pitcher they can hit! took them long enough. They are still going to lose the series.

Gotta love Red Sox fans. :crazyeyes

Series could go either way, but Yanks have that "Destiny" look again. ;)

"what was Brenly thinking pulling him out of the game"

he wants him for game 7.

besides, kim didnt pitch that bad. he only gave up 3 runs in 3 innings. its just that on some days, the dbacks cant hit.

and the yanks havent found a pitcher they can hit.

are you a yankee fan or a mets fan, aoa? i like it how on the letterman show, sometimes for the intro that allan coulter does:

"Welcome to New York, the home of the yankees...and that other team."ba-daa-dada--da-dada

"besides, kim didnt pitch that bad. he only gave up 3 runs in 3 innings. its just that on some days, the dbacks cant hit."

That equates to an E.R.A. of 9.00. He had two outs and two strikes in the last inning and couldn't get it done.

and the yanks havent found a pitcher they can hit."

Yes they have, and his name is Kim. Hell, even I can't believe they hit another two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth. Maybe AOA is right....maybe it is destiny....

I think it was a mistake, you have to win TODAY'S game, never mind game 7.
There is no way to say Schilling will be unhitable in game 7

He gave up 5 runs in 3 and two thirds, including two 2 run, game tying, homers, both with 2 out in the 9th, in other words, he stunk.

and the yanks havent found a pitcher they can hit.
D-Backs ain't exactly tearing the cover off the ball.
You see the 8th?
Womak on third, nobody out, and they didn't score!
Bases loaded in the 11th, one out, and they didn't score again!

are you a yankee fan or a mets fan, aoa?
Yankee fan since 1967

Ha ha, Letterman used to root for the Mets.

Still, the series is up for grabs, but the only chance the D-Backs have is if Johnson and Schilling go the distance.

But as always, I'm rooting for the Yankees. ;)

Ha Ha Ha Ha

New York fans--so confident until tonight! :p

15-0 in the fifth inning!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to take this thing all the way home tomorrow.
And the Yanks will be going home.

theyre really hit petitte hardcore tonight, huh, aoa? hopefully they can keep it up for tomorrow. you see colangelo's wife telling guliani to go back to new york?:D

"Womak on third, nobody out, and they didn't score!" i cant count the times on two hands that that has happened this series.
