I think a Tibetan monk as the UU replacing swordsmen won't make to much sense since Tibetan monks don't practice warfare. Instead I think you should make the Tibetan UU Khampa Warrior. The Khampa's are Tibetan from the Kham province in eastern Tibet bordering China. The people are the descendents of the Tibetan warriors who in the past invaded China. Their a nomadic people of Mongolian descent. Also during the Chinese invasion of Tibet many of the Tibetan resistance fighters were Khampas who fought the invading Chinese Army.

I've suggested the Khampa Horseman as a Tibetan UU to CivArmy before, but it doesn't seem that he hasn't been around to it yet. This is a fairly old leaderhead and I think CivArmy has been mainly working on Civ4 stuff lately so it's not likely that there'd be any new changes. Also this leaderhead is not for Tenzin Gyatso, but for another Dalai Lama.
