I have a few ideas

Tesla/Lightnining Death rays- could be interesting units they were awsome in Red Alert and Red Alert 2.
Laser Towers- An Immoble artillery unit that can be built in cities, has a long range and high bombardment.

For Africa, devide the rest into 2 to 3 weak civs

If you decided on seprate nations of Europe here is how I would devide them

Great Britian
France/Holland/Belgium
Germany
Scandinavian Union
Italy/Austria/Greece
Eastern Europe(Poland, Hungray, ect)
Spain/Portigal
 
If i may throw in my hat in the civilizations discussions, you should probably have different civs in the epic game than in the world map. You may want to have only one Africa civ in the epic, but in the world map you should have multiple to create regional disputes and to simulate a weaker continent. Nations like Israel or South Korea could exist in the epic, but to have them alone in the world map would be a waste; they should be infused with the United States or another ally.

EDIT: :thumbsup: Oh yeah I forgot, I'm really looking forward to this mod, its an excellent idea.
 
Itts back! I have decided to restart work on this mod while I wait for some units for my Heart of Destiny mod. Heres its current statis:

First Era: Completed except for I want to add Stealth Destroyer and Arsenal Ship
Second Era: Techs, Units completed, a few improvements are present, want to add more however, and wonders.
Third Era: Need to add improvements and wonders, techs and units are completed to my knowledge, naval aspect may need improvement.
Fourth Era: Needs to be added.

Soundtrack, Wondersplashs are added, civs need to be changed, and LHs(flags probably) will have to be incorporated.
 
Alright great response Bluemofia! I'll have the third age be the Energy Age, and the last age be the Quantum Age. When I think Nanites I think Sci-Fi nanites, rather than the small experiments being carried out now.

So now the ages are: Information Age which basically is the Civ3 modern age, the Synthetic Age, with robots, power armored troopers, nanites and later mechs as a the age closes. I'm done filling the tech tree with techs for the second era, but its a bit small i'd say.

Please post ideas for techs for the Synthetic Age it would help me out a ton.

PS: Should I add attack helicopters to the modern era as a bonus unit?

yes you should as some fans will use that unit for optional attacks
 
what is the completion time for this mod because it does sound a real treat,modders tend to concentrate on the medevil/dark/ancient eras,glad to see some body as got the gaul to do something fresh cant wait dude
