Okay then. Fixed mistake.

@ Ic: Right. Anyway Shaka is alone on his island. He should improve faster.

@ andis: Come on you are spoiling the fun! :mischief: Burn that heretic!

@ Lord Iggy: I know. That's a protection of mine. Hey my secrets are secrets! You think I would post my secrets to the last arrived? You think I would reveal to the whole world who is the second Zulu UU?
Oh that protection also tells your PC to do the format C: command if you try to view the map rules two times. :)

...

So, where were we last time? Ah yes, the so important city of Hippo. Yawn. Well, where's the problem? I just make my fellow troopz restore, then have a trip on the Carthaginian capital city: Carthage.
Next turn, please.

925 BC: And next turn came
...and next turn came. And next nice news come: Greeks sign peace treaty with Carthaginians. :gripe: WHAT? I come to help them and that's how they give in return. Damn Alex, I'd expect some fairness from you.
Anyway, I give 'em all my gold (~120) and they declare war again to Hannibal.

I get my recompense. While Alex keeps Cartys peepz busy, my legios march quite unbeaten towards Carthage.
And...

Wow! The Oracle!
I can lower the luxury slide! :)

:goodjob:
I refuse to dl the mod and spoil the suspense! You can't make me!
Or it could be that I'm lazy...

Shaka has extreme amounts of power. If we gets owned then that means he really sux!

You can try, but so far not even the polar bears of das have catched me, so it's not very likely that you can catch me either ;)
Oh that protection also tells your PC to do the format C:
meh, that wouldn't hurt since this baby is going back shop. Those bastards sold me a broken graphics card...

I just unleashed my élite Legio corps that will catch you even in the North, South, and if possible East and West Poles. They are specially trained for traversing any surface including Deserts, Lava, 2 meters Snow, Ice, Jungle, Mars deserts, Mountains, Hills, roads, they have sensors and GPS, so surrender now and face fiercely what you deserve.

Ok, sorry for the loooooong update. I was ill (still I am but couldn't resist to play CivIII a bit :) ) but now I'm taking again the seat of the mighty Roman leader in his task to... uh, own Shaka. Sounds old.

Well.

Careless of his upcoming imminent squashing humiliating annihilating terribly dominating and whatever else defeat, Hanny sends some of his preferred troops on a long trip, maybe in search of new kinds of bodies to taste and cannibalize. Who knows. Whatever are his intents, his troops really reached the wrong spot at the wrong time: they made the colossal mistake of landing in Roman land at the time of MYrule.

One blink, and they never existed.

On a side note in 730 BC (this is much less important than watching such great military invasions :) ) I complete the Great Library! And it gives me 2 great techs: Currency and the Republic! Yay! :woohoo:
I immediately start a revolution. 3 turns, not bad.

On a much brighter note (note how I am cleverly putting news from the darkest to the brighter -- in my specially own criteria though...), I conquer not one but TWO cities from poor Hanny left with no Roman bodies to eat :) They are Leptis Minor and Sabratha. Now it's down to 3 cities. Three mere cities and I defeated an opponent twice the size of mine.

But terrible news are coming on the front...

More to come tomorrrow.

w00t! Smash t3h Punic menace? I wonder what they do this time...

Any ideas afterward? Maybe the greeks or those on the southern contenant, savoring the future defeat of the greeks?:ar15: (add evil laugh here:p )

I never was a good buddy of ANYONE BWHAHAHAHAhahaAHhahaaha-ehm, uhm, long time update this time too, primarily because of the forum upgrade.
Well.

WEALTH in Antium? How could such a terrible waste pass covered for so much time? Production is immediately switched to Legions.

Well.

My punic friends are about to count their last turns--seconds of life, as my legios smash through their defenses. Although they have powerful defenders, they have little of them, thus giving me the opportunity to become a good sized force early.
The future is... the whole island. You know, my good friend Alex is pretty anxious. Poor him I could understand such a feeling, having ME sharing your borders is quite a night 'n' day obsession.

But on to the update.

Update?
Man that's gonna take a winning place on the Worst Update Post Ever! contest. You know these are boring turns. The switch to Republic, the annihilation of Hannibal, the improving of cities. Yawn.
The hard stuff will come tomorrow, with those "terrible news coming on the front"...

Glad you're back at it. A few days without a post, I was getting jittery. No BasketCase, no Tr1cKy, thank goodness you're here DVD!

DVD must be on vacation... Another update!

Patience is ufortunately a virture. Everyone has things to do.
AND THE ONLY THING DVD SHOULD BE DOING IS UPDATING!!! So DVD, stop sipping your :coffee: and hurry it up already!
 :joke:

@ Iggy: If Basket takes so long he's preparing something massive. I'm anxious to read his story...

@ Knupp: Welcome aboard! Oh eh uhm, yes sir! I'll see what can I do with, uh, coffee.

@ Dominus Romae: Great Leaders are NEVER in vacation. They live 6050 years and they never, NEVER take a vacation.

Short, but intense update.

Didn't say that before: I switched to Republic and got a massive -18 cash flow. Urgh.
Then I realize I had Polytheism at 5 turns with 70% Science. I put the slider back to 50, the tech still needs 5 turns, and I get a massive +55 gpt! Scary huge number for so early ages!

Well! The terrible news now:

630 BC

Guess WHAT? Shaka's UNDEADS! And guess what? He declares war! Guess against who? ME! And where damn they came from!

[SCREAM]
162ed.jpg

[/SCREAM]

As you can see from the pic, if my Legios are still there that means they couldn't conquer my city. I was really lucky though.
I kill those 2 pesky undeads, and march towards Theveste, against the remainings of the Cannibal Empire. Er, of the Hannibal empire. Guess they couldn't be so civilized. Ah, progress.

I move stuff around and pass the turn. Afterall, it's not gonna be so difficult. I just gotta watch out for hidden Impis, er, Undeads to jump out from their darkness to sweep across my boundaries and take undefended cities. Luckily, a garrisoned Legio is a good match against units with 4 attack points.

610 BC

As I didn't know, Shaka is renowned for throwing to his enemy everything he can throw. Not satisfied of having 4/2/2 Undeads, he thinks it's just not enough and calls to help his friend (?) Alex. Oh damn.
Furthermore, 2 (two) Zulu vessels have been sighted near my motherland boundaries. Hmmm. 2 Galleys = 4 Undeads = Run for cover! = [SCREAM]

200uf.jpg

Okay. I can support all of this. I can. Shaka, I encountered more hopeless situations that that. This is just not gonna give me a scratch!

Uh.

229be.jpg

In my west boundaries of my homeland, I--4 (FOUR) Indian Galleys!
They all want THE HELP, er the HELL OF ME!

212zi.jpg

Okay.

SOLDIERS, UNLEASH THE HELL!
KILL THOSE UNDEADS!

197sp.jpg

EDIT: Ohh ohh, couldn't notice Basket already started his new story.
