Department of Turnplay

I can't play it until 6 pst (3 hours late). If no one else grabs it I can play it after work.

Sorry about the full box but this is retail slavery week and I can get to the forums for all of about ten minutes a day.

I'm still stuck at work. Also I have to take my honey to the airport so I won't be home until late. Sorry, I can't play today.

Ok we're late so I got it.

next turns in. I can't do a todo tonight. But here's the basics.... do everything right ;)

basically, here's what's going on. Make sure MP's are where they are needed, keep roading to the luxes, improve the core, kill the barbs near Cyprus Creek.

If there are any GS that aren't pulling MP duty send the to EWR. Also check happiness and science as high as it can go.

Boxing Day Turn is in and I will take it.

I'm back from X-mas. I'll download the last sent save to review what we have going on. More GS to build obviously. Like to see when Repub comes in. Can we pre revolt? I didn't think you could revolt unless you have another gov't to switch to, but if we can I like the idea. Also I would like to start sooner rather than later.

You are correct no pre-revolts without another government to revolt to.
I believe we are down to 4 or 5 turns to republic.

We are religious, so we won't have to worry about a long anarchy period.

I'm back...

[note=side]
As I was perusing some of my subscribed threads, I noticed that [civ4] has another patch. If you have any mods that change the cvUtil.py file (autolog is one of them), you need to stop using it for the time being. I didn't realize that there was some scoring changes in patch 1.09 and cvUtil.py in the autolog is from version 1.00. When I get home today, I'll download the new patch (1.54 I think) and update the mods that I use using the new files from the patch. I'll post a thread in the mod forum and update my sig once I'm done.

Also it seems as though MIA is nervous about "end the peace". I didn't respond on the issues in my reply. I just told him that I'd try to be online tonight. His AIM user id is Chamnix GA

Not sure what happened there - here is my transcript:

Chamnix GA: Howdy
KC Venters: hi there
Chamnix GA: glad I finally caught one of you...
KC Venters: I had to do some wrangling in order to get around the firewall
Chamnix GA: ahhh
KC Venters: whassup?
Chamnix GA: Re - construction...
Chamnix GA: we were curious how you felt about trading for construction from TNT
KC Venters: they have it?
Chamnix GA: not yet, but they will before we can
KC Venters: you still there?
Chamnix GA: yeah
Chamnix GA: something wrong?
KC Venters signed off at 8:02:26 AM.

Anyway, I was hoping to talk about how you felt about trading for Construction and also possibly extending our "end the peace" deal from 10 turns to something longer. Hopefully we will connect sometime.

Addendum to TO DO List:

Move all available GSs to EWR. If it won't hurt a cities happiness, that soldier need to be heading to the front.

All vessels should be heading to the MIA coast for intel gathering.

Please report on the location, status and number of all our forces.

We might be able to go ahead and pull GS MP's out and send them south. We might get hurt a bit on the net income, but if we can still get Republic in one turn, then I'd think that it might be worth it. IMO warriors need to stay, but the GS could be moved.

Dunderhead has 3 happy and 2 sad and 1 content one or two of those could be removed and sent to EWR.

The road is almost complete all of the way down.

Just an observation:

3. follow MIA warrior with GS in Gilfach

If MIA has a warrior watching our territory, won't he be able to see our GS moving en masse south and get a warning what we're up to? I haven't looked at the save, so maybe he can't see a large enough area, but thought I'd mention it. If he CAN see, maybe we should take a bit of a detour out of his range of sight.

The MIA warrior near Gilfach should shadow that MIA warrior. After we let them know of our intentions, he could make some trouble. It would be a free promotion chance once we get to that point.

Just to clarify.... The MIA warrior is far enough from our LUX road to not be able to spot anything elicit going on.

FYI::: the settler that MIA had on the tundra in the south has moved.

And I got the save

Now that the quick strike is off, why don't we keep the GS spread out a little, to deal with the barb uprising soon to come.
