Honestly? My ideal environment is a rural suburb. Plenty of space, some forests, good people, and quiet.

About the same of what i had in mind. but also the surrounding must be cool, not so humid, preferbly something like Japan kind of clean enviroment without pollution.

Outdoors: Well that would be tall oaks, maples, willows, and an occasional white pine, preferrably near a nice lake or river. I know of a place like this, it is a nearby lake (well, about 10-15 miles). I would tell you the name, but it would place you very close to my house.

Or else perhaps near a forest of spruce (blue) trees, again near a nice body of water. I know of a place like this in reality, it is nearby a marsh, with one of the clearest streams I have ever seen. You must cross a small foot bridge to get to the pine forest.

Another place would be a short ways upriver from Fremont on the Wisconsin River (or if you prefer geologic scenery, try the Wisconsin Dells, mini Grand Canyon).

Indoors: I would have to say my room or the room where we have our Anime/Gaming Club meetings.

anyway, my ideal environment is pretty much what I have at the moment. A nice quiet, little town yet still close enough to the city. The only thing I want to change in the near future is get a house of my own, with a nice garden, preferably close to the forest line.

The big city, good restuarants and fast life, also must have quick acess to more bucolic areas should i feel the need to wind down.

A piece of land, with green grass, with tall and spectacular mountains behind a big and majestic mansion/palace*, Spanish Renaissance style, on one island from a group of islands, very close to the continent, and in the front, light blue water, with other small islands (or just "rocks" with trees) visible from the garden, with a river coming from the mountains, passing right through my garden and forming waterfalls, surrounded by palm trees of all kinds, and beaches beaches with either white or golden sand, and full of all kinds of exotic animals (parrots, exotic fishes, etc). Oh, and a similar mansion/palace on the mainland, just that the mountains behind should be much higher and spectacular, with hundreds of "hidden" paths passing through them, unaccessible by car, and with vegetation similar to mild jungle. All this preferably in South America, where people play Amerindian pan flutes and Spanish guitar... and sing and dance on songs full of passion.

*in most languages, unlike English, palace is used to represent a big private mansion, not only the residence of a king/head of state.
