Allright, these boards have usually very good ideas for new civs, I'd like to see if someone can come up with something sweet for Civ VI, based on what we know of the game and it's features so far. We don't even know yet how many unique units/bonuses the empires will even have..

Germany

Unique Ability:
Prussian Tradition - Discount on buildings built on military district, Great generals give a bigger bonus

Unique Unit:
88mm gun - A support unit, replaces anti-tank weapon. More stronger AND functions also as anti-air weapon

Unique Building:
Bierhaus - Unique building for happines district, besides happines creates gold

Ok don't know if my example is amazing and some of it is just speculation, but that's part of the expectation game when waiting for new Civ or expansion.. ;)

I would like to see some Unique Districts. Some of the old UBs could be Districts, like a Mall, with gold bonuses being adjacent to neighborhoods.

After the first announcements, there were two factors which came up to my mind which would make Portugal a very interesting civilization: the boost on technologies (the particular example of sea related techs) and the the art design for the unrevealed/fog of war map.

Being studying Portuguese history for about 3 years now, I considered these features something that would make the most brilliant Portuguese civilization ever - increased bonuses from sea connections and from discovering new territories and civs.

Of course I am being biased for wanting Portugal on the first release (or at least on the first DLCs). Still, it seems that civilization VI was designed to create a good Portuguese civilization (f course it wasn't . But still, the concept fits very very well).
Given that...

Portuguese Empire
Leader: João II

Unique Ability:
Seas never sailed before - Increased science boost for exploration and sea-related actions.

Unique Unit:
Nau - replaces whatever unit controls the map in the renaissance era. Lower strength; increased movement and sight; may perform a one time action with a city-state or a civilization. With CS provides Gold; With Civs provides science and gold for both Portugal and that civ.

Unique Building:
Feitoria - replaces customs house or something related in the harbor district (?). Increased gold for foreign trade routes targeting the city. When an international trade route goes from this city, both Portugal and the targeting civilization receive increased gold.
