In Civ 5 destroying your own buildings is only useful on rare situations however this may not be the cased in civ 6. The ability to destroy your own district has many interesting and maybe abusive possibilities. For instance maybe in the early game you want to rush religion to try to get the good religious bonuses before there taken, after you're satisfied with your religion you can now destroy most of your religious districts to free up those mountains spots for science districts. Other possibilities are moving around you enchantment district. Although this won't help you if your enemy is already attacking your city it could be useful for moving your enchantment from the east side of your city to the west side, after you western neighbor declared war on you.
Am I going a little overboard with this or do you actually think that destroying your own district may be a valid tactic now?
