Did anyone ever like the Dino scenario in Civ2?

some sound like wonders but coulsd probably be used for techs

so what are we doing for the civs?
i was thinking:
carnivore dinos
herbovore dinos
ombivore dinos
humans
bird dinos
sea dinos(would have to be able to go on land also)
that only six: the bad thing with doing specific species of dinos would be the lack of units also, with these, we can make a certain species the leader, so we wouldnt have to make the dinos be highly intelligent and have names
 
axid- are you adding the techs to the game?
 
ive been watching dinotopia- its been helping with some of the dinosaures
 
Hey guys. I haven't been online in a few days. School's out so I had to move out, so I had no computer for a while.

Just a little progress report:
The dinosaur rider unit is only a few days away. I solved some of the pallette problems I had and am now making rapid progress. It also helps being out of school and having more free time.

I saw Dinotopia too. :)
Some neat Ideas... I'm interested in what ya'll thought

I haven't heard from Axid. I don't know him outside of this forum. I hope he comes back soon. Maybe he's like me and got disconnected for a lil bit.

Anyway, the first dino unit is COMPLETED!!!

I am gonna take a tiny break from units for a day or two and then start some more dinos.

sorry i havent been on lately
i am without internet
it really stinks
now i am at the library

the 2nd dino unit is done, but i cant post it since im at the library and the library wont let me use the disk drive.
i will hopefully be getting cable internet soon.
dont worry i havent givin up on this mod.
even though you may not see me posting very often i am still hard at work

I saw in the expansion pack there will be a dinosaur unit. looks like a t-rex. perhaps we can incorporate that into the mod too when it comes out. (arrg I wanted to make a t-rex :( )
 
i'm back, finally. i got disconnected for a while. i haven't been working opn the mod cause i didn't have the stuff to do it. otherwise i would have been doing it.

i did see dinotopia. i thought it was decent. it could have been better though.

i'll be getting the first dino unit soon. it looks great from the pictures peseloco. what do you think about using womoks dragon unit? the reason i suggest this is that in the bible, in Job it says there was an animal that could breath fire. so i was thinking it might be a decent idea. just thought i'd through it out there.

i'll start doing the techs and units buildings etc. as soon as i can. i have to redo the ordinary game cause i had to reinstall civ. which was a real pain.

that's about it for now. can't wait to see the second unit.

oh just a thought but you could do a t-rex unit and then we could see which fit's better with everything else. i was thinking that a continuity would come from haveing the same person do most of the units. if you aren't upto it htough peseloco we could scrounge some from other places, maybe. just a thought.
