Die Schlapphüte

I know a few guys on that team (Cavs) and they will definitely try to expand as fast as possible, develop infrastructure ASAP, and take risks with less military early in exchange for long term potential.

You mean like we are doing?

Yes....I would say because of their traits, they decided to grow first and then spam out settlers and workers....

I am starting to think we might want to prioritize scouting a little more...even at the expense of some other builds....

We're getting an extra axe out of JD so that the one there atm can go and explore (and for safety due tohe amount of barbs that seeem to be around). We can easily get four extra units to explore with, that really isn't an issue, we just need a group of people to say they want to explore, and give a basic idea of how they want to do it.

. .. .. .. . it, I'll start a scouting thread shortly.

They do build granaries faster than us - I'd assume they get bigger than us faster.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they try to build pyramids from scratch - the boost from rep to happiness would be huge for them, since they already have a boost to health.

Highest MFG is 23, it's floating between 23 and 27; other wonders would be more attainable and more useful (for example, henge, with prophet points would give them a shrine. They could be working a priest, but henge would speed that up and provide easy border pops).

Just checked the timing, but Cavs second classical tech was followed by a rise of 3250 increase in teh average soldiers number. 3250*5 = 16250 increase, which would suggest that IW may have been researched already...Monarchy is worth 0, IW 10K soldiers.

I've been taking quite a few screenshots. Before Cav's second classical tech (early in turn 64) avg power was 32,250. After their score increase (later in turn 64 for us) avg power was 33,750. So it couldn't be Iron Working or Horseback Riding but could be just about anything else.

Awesome, thank you for that  Definately gives me food for thought about the Kaz - Cav relationship. It seems a little like Cavs are sitting in the middle acting like tech brokers, which doesn't jive with them seeming losing a warrior earlier on in the game.

There are only 4 rival teams, so all rival average values must be multiplied by 4 not 5. There is no such thing as 250 soldier points iirc.
