Hi, I bought from gamesplanet.com Civilization 4, Civilization 4: Warlords(in a second time) and Civilization 4: Beyond the sword.
I found some strange problems:
-First when I install Civ4 and Civ4:BtS the game miss backgound menus in game, this isn't a big problem, but it's really annoying bacause it's difficult to read and I can't see some interface parts...I found other people with the same problem and I fixed it installing the expansion Warlords.
-Second big problem is that if I install Civ4, Civ4: Warlords, Civ4: BtS I can play only the expansion Beyond the Sword because the basic version Civilization 4 needs the CD to run: why? I have the digital version of the game, I don't understand why I need the CD to play the vanilla version.
- Third problem regards patches. I have Bts version 3.17 (from gamesplanet)but it's not the late version. I tryied to patch with the in game autopatch and manually downloaded the latest version (3.19) but it doesn't work at all, I can choose language and few other things and then stops and I have to ctrl+alt+canc out of the application. I tryed also a 3.19 patch for digital version of the game but nothing.
Hope you have some solutions, I searched and looked in your forum and I found few people with those problems but they didn't get an anwser.
