Yeap!!!
Agreed, Civ 4 BTS is one of the Best game in my book
But How to win in Diplomacy cos I always play Conquest...
Why is it THE best game??
Cos nowsaday where got people play turn base game anymore, it really RTS games which is better....
But in the end it the GAMEPLAY (Playability) which is more important (Althought it a resources hogs)
And also another Q's
Why can I see the graphics of the person when I contact another civilization Nor the graphic of the wonders I just built???
Mine is P4 with only 512MB RD Ram
Graphic card is Nvidia Geoforce MX400
Yea, I know it seems like the min. req.
But b4 BTS Expansion i manage to see the wonders and other faces of civ.
which I am in contact with
Anyways thanks 1st if any can solve my problems

Stating the obvious, make sure you have wonder videos enabled in the options. Line of sight also works differently in BtS--you need espionage points to see your opponents cities, instead of previously needing the holy shrine.

Thanks for the reply
But How to win by diplomacy and what does the stupid map which tribal village give me do????
nothing seems to happen

Win by diplo > someone buuld the UN (perhaps you) or the AP (perhaps you), you are elected as the chair, and then you are elected as the world leader or religious leader. For this, you need careful diplomacy.

As for the map, just look closer to the terrain you see and you will usually see that some of the unknown terrain around the hut has been cleared.

Again Thanks for all the prompt reply
Seems to waste so MUCH time playing the games over and over again
But it REALLY VERY ADDICTIVE
IF you are more advanced than them they dun dare to attack u
how to make them attack me?
Just asking
Even when i put just a warrior in my city
but of course i have reach where i can turn to swordsman or infantry but clicking the update

It depends on many factors - the religion you both have, the AI leader, the close borders, your trade relations with your neighbors....

There are leaders (Shaka, Montezuma to name the 'best of') that will attack you, regardless your tech advantage. Also, if your power is low (twice lower for exemple) than another civilization, it will likely see you as an easy prey.

So, if you still want to get attacked, I would consider these steps:
- convert to another state religion than you attacker's one
- identify his 'worst enemy' in the diplomacy screen and gift him a tech or trade ressources with him
- settle next to his border, hopefully stealing him a strategic ressource (iron, copper, horse) or even a nice luxury one (gold, dye)
- be sure that your overall power is lower than the AIs power

This way you should get almost every leader to declare war on you.

Good luck!

Thanks Pawelo,
Yes last night I spend some times reading the Civ4 Guides and find that Montezuma is the most aggressive while gandhi is the most gentle.

But What I dun understand is what u mean by Power??? as quote by you

"Also, if your power is low (twice lower for exemple)" and "- be sure that your overall power is lower than the AIs power"

If u mean cities I have more than him

What power??? still scratching my head (LOL)
hahaha

Making arrogant demands often seems to help if you want people to declare war (basically, just ask the for stuff when they aren't friendly or pleased - we demand you give this to us as a tribute).

press f9. Look at the power graph. This is what he is talking about.

The more cities, the more military units, buildings, techs, the more production you have, the more power you get on the graph.

I hope it worked kmleong :)

Be sure to have some 'reserves' (like units about to be finished) or draft possibilities if you stay low in power - I wouldn't like you to get doomed by the AI superior army ;)
