Team MIA is actively engeged in the process of foreign contact

>We will discuss everything in the Embassy
>We will have a separate thread to store treaties and agreements

... How are you the administrators going to handle this element of the game ?

:nono: I do not want you to open a discussion thread in UN ... or if you do make it very very vague ... I want no other teams suspecting anything from the wording

PM I received from a citizen said:
Also, I think you should make a request to the two admins about how we should handle agreements with teams so we can be able to show the thins the agrrement is about an be able to show who is right and who is wrong.

basically your role is also international court judge and will step in with point of order when discussions get too heated between rivals and the wording of international pacts and treaties ... and also perceived breaking of agreements ...

I open this discussion to citizens and Administrators and Mods (if they want to input) as to what proceedures you want us (and the other teams to do)

I must be too paranoid ... I think I would prefer the Admins to start any thread or the others ... even with very general wording ... I fear we will be giving too much away ... and i don't want the teams that we have now met read anything into our cautiousness ...

Administrators will repond soon I imagine as they constantly lurk ... I will PM them in 48 hours if no responce ...

Hmmm ... interesting point that our esteemed Minister of Military Matters has bought up ... :mischief: I wonder if this is a side effect of some of the special Northland crop samples ... apparently some of the leaves and buds had a blueish fungus/mold growing on them ... hmmm ... maybe some of the Blue Room ... ummm ... 'guests' ... will volunteer for some testing ...

Oh and could you instruct your troops to not be as 'persuasive' with the 'encounter sessions' next time ... half of those sent from the various Meet'n'Greets were badly damaged by the time they arrived here ... and unfortunately could only be be used in the testing of various 'disposal' techniques ...

I'm not too sure what you're asking here...

You and another team may work out a treaty by sending modified versions back and forth. When both of you "agree" to the writing, you submit it to the admins, where it becomes official.

Can you elaborate on your question?

When it is either your turn or not, you are able to communicate with other teams (or their representatives) you have met in game via email / im / pm. You can do such things as:

Team A: We offer a peace treaty until 10 AD. Do you agree?
Team B: If you throw in Tech C. Ok?
Team A: Done.

You then submit the "Team A and Team B have a mutally agreed upon peace treaty until 10 AD. No one can declare war on each other." agreement to the admins. We will keep it for reference. Then, in game, Team A can open the F4 screen, click on Team B, and select Tech C. They select the "I agree to this proposal" button, and click "Send". (Diplomacy in game works differently than in Single Player). Team B will then open their save they receive and select the "I agree to this proposal" button, and Team B will receive Tech C.

Do you understand this?

You are free to open threads in your forum, such as:

"Team B Negotiations"

All correspondence and citizens' proposals can be in one location. Sometimes negotiations can last a couple of turns.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks Admins ... cleared up perfectly well ... final agreements are submitted to the UN central archive :D

We may even get a jpeg of the document with our MIA signature and send to other team to add theirs ... Then send you the jpeg ;)
