We should draft a letter to donut on our deal for republic. They should...
1. HBR for their UU (and a despotic GA
)
We should recommend that they do cash upgrades of their horses since TNT has iron hooked up.
2. Maths--they will need the cats to knock off some hit points for the immortal onslaught)
3. Currency--this could be perfectly timed for us to start building markets when we switch to republic and everyone else is in anarchy.
All deals with Donut should be contingent on giving us the techs once they finish. No waiting till we finish republic.
In the meantime, MIA can research mapmaking (which they are doing now), lit and another tech. Construction or poly? They have agreed to tell us if they get a SGL and what they should do with it. I'm not sure about what wonder we should suggest. Give that some thought.

I had a feeling it was going to be a while until they went at it. I posted about 10 turns ago that it would be 15-20 turns before they could get a force in range of each other. I'm more concerned about the pyramids build! ..argh.. Is there any way we can get a prebuild going to beat them to it? Probably not but with one of thier core cities going for it that will mean less military for them and we should be able to capture it. Let's keep building up. As soon as those rax are done we can start some real military building. More workers to get the lux hooked up so we can maintain growth.
MIA is not building the pyramids they are using it to direct a forest chop.
Dunderhead is 2 turn workers now and our iron should be hooked up, if not this turn the next. Ignoramus finishes a rax this turn and others are building them. GS here we come.

Quick Q: out of simple mindedness, I've yet to open a diplo thread with the purpose of doing/reading something on that front of the game. The other fronts seem well-prepared and sufficiently managed (aka practically dead on the discussion side), so I was assuming that the diplo is where it's all at - and I just wanted to verify. So, am I wrong? Thanks.
