Hi,

I have big problems with the synchronization of my direct ip games,
i read that the oos error came with 3.13 bts patch and can be avoided with disabling the random events. now my problem is i cannot find the disabling option when i have the FFH mod loaded only an option to double them  So my question is how can i disable them to get a stable direct ip game ?

They can't be disabled,

This is becuase some traits such as adaptive rely on events, and i think the armegeddon events are events now and also orthus and acheron are events,

So currently it is impossible to disable them with the latest version of FFH

Clear my cache? Never then less if i reboot or reload the game, at some point theres an ooc error every round. Atm i went back to ffh0.23 and its very stable. However i wonder how anybody can play ffh0.30 in multiplayer when this bts version is causing so much trouble  Is the problem with internet games less frequently?

one of the main reasons for the oos errors in 3.13 apparently was some pre-patch stuff in the game cache, you might want to try this:

you have to set windows to show hidden files since the application data directory is hidden by default.

the following directory:
documents and settings\<username>\application data\my games\beyond the sword
has to be deleted (it contains the BtS cache and proxy settings - BtS will create it again once you start a game after deleting the stuff). All players need to do this.
DO NOT delete
documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\beyond the sword
that would cost you all your saves ...

Interresting, i did not know that gamedata is stored there, thanks for the tip,
i will try it. :)

I'm on version 0.30 patch e and having no troubles at all during multi-player. There are some MP fixes for BTS version 3.13 that should clear things up for you. I believe ori mentioned the ones I'm referring to.

I can gladly verify that the problem of oos's is solved, removing the specified folder definetly made it working. We have been playing 200 turns without any problems, thanks alot for the replys :goodjob:

Then should they not take out the Yes/No Barbarian Option as well?

As there are civs with the Barbarian trait?

Would this have anything to do with Vista? I am using Vista and my friend XP and we keep getting OOS problems. Neither of us have a cache folder so we can't delete that, and we've both tried the holding "shift" key option as well but still no problems. Both of us are using the base FFH 030 install and have since updated to 030e but no difference. We've even gone so far as to reinstall the game but now it happens even faster then before.

Any suggestions?
