Occasionly when im in battles my pieces dissapear in the animation....or sometimes enemies will have a unit on a square thats not actually there but to the left(or whereever) of that square....or even sometimes enemy units will floats over lakes/seas to attack my city on the other side, AND THESE ARE LIKE FREAKIN AXEMAN whats going on?

This is a bug in the latest patch. It happens to me but hopefully will be corrected in the next patch. Have a look at the 'funny screenshots' thread in the general forum and you'll see plenty of workers, calvary, etc taking to the seas.
