Disunity

Disclaimer: I do not pretend to know French. I won't even bother with the translators for this NES. So there.

Diplomacie

To: The Revolutionaries
From: The Aristocratic Council of Gascogne

(French laugh) Give up your silly libertarian ways! If we crown a King now, France can survive the Allied onslaught.

To: Le Royalists
From: La Council d'Aristocracie d'Auch d'Gascogne

(Heavy French accent) Let us form l'alliance d'Aristocracie d'France and drive the Revolution to the ground!

From Paris
To Gasconge

I'll be fair to you and admit that if we were to crown the Allie's candidate King of France (probably Louis XVIII), we would not have this war. That does not make it the right course of action, though we are willing to consider it.

flyingchicken has already given orders. please give yours quick (can be public post or private message...)

Update-
Auch- 5,000 livres, 220,000 people, 90 battalions, Farm, Military Base. End of Turn One.
Brest- No orders yet, Turn One.
Sables-No orders yet, Turn One.
Marseilles-0 livres, 50,000 people, 235 battalions, Farm, Town Council, Military Base, End of Turn One.
Paris- 0 livres, 20,000 people, 210 battalions, Barracks, End of Turn One.

Dulp- can the orders I sent for this turn count for next one?

I had contingency plans in my orders for that- can you have my orders for that turn apply verbatim to the coming one?

EDIT: That is, assuming my secret diplomacy doesn't mean I lose control of my state. Do the British send anybody in to govern it?

Auch succeeds in taking land to its east (Coal, to border of Marseilles. Will show up in a moment.) but fails to take Marseilles, loses half its attacking troops.

Note: I may have misunderstood what was meant by peace treaty. If so, my new orders apply instead of old ones.

All members please report their stance on Britain's peace treaty, such as plans for alliance, union, contingency, etc.

Also, one may build things and then attack once. The coal gained in attack may not be used to build things that require coal during the same turn.

Diplomacy alert:

Auch offers to share coal to its north w/ Sables. What says Sables?

Also, coal gained during conquest may not be used for building in the same turn.

It goes:

Phase1: Building
Phase2: Attack/Diplomacy.

EDIT: What I do depends whether Britain agreed to the terms of my secret diplomacy.

So now we have a Paris-London alliance, a Prussia-Austria alliance, and an offered Auch-Sables alliance, with Brest and Marseilles as separate.

Brest and Sables have not given any orders for their Turn.

Paris, Marseilles, and Auch have completed their first turn.

Prussia has agreed to Paris' proposal and has ceased conflict to invade Austria! Austria retreats from France! (This will show up in the map in a minute) Now that threats have been neutralized, the real conflict is between the city-states.

Brest, Sables, and Marseilles have not given any orders for their Turn, Paris has not given any attack orders, and Auch has completed its first turn.

Orders in. Silly Auch trying to attack me...
