This is a spin off of the !dvd! thread. I was just wondering what .avi and .mpg/mpeg files people have and what their favorites are.

My fav is Office Space and Black Hawk Down.

I also have most of Star Trek: Enterprise Season 1. I love the people in Sweden!
The first part of Gladiator.
A few of the Farscape Tv show episodes on Sci-Fi.
And a few more movies.

And no, this is not about the failed product called Divx. More information on DivX files can be found at www.divx.com . DivX in this situation is an encoding process that takes up less space than the encoding on DVDs but has almost 100% of the clarity DVDs have, in about 1/8th to 1/10th the file size.

Only a couple of music filmclips, and Fellowship of the Ring for me.
That's the price of a dial up connection.:(

simpsons episodes and jay and silent bob strike back and the yoda fight scene from star wars episode 2

Just a dozen of 2 minute sex movies. Mostly lesbian, since almost anything else disgusts me.

Yeah, PH! That two CD rip of Black Hawk Down is on of my favorites too. I also much enjoy the LOTR rip. What the hell am I going on about? I love them all. From Dr. Strangelove to Se7en, from As Good as it Gets to Saving Private Ryan, Divx has treated me very well.

Can you e-mail me where you get your legal divx movies from? ;)

kazaa, imesh, limewire.
i guess thats what your question asked, because the word legal is in the word illegal.

delete that before you get banned :D

and kazaa only gives me low-bandwidth users :(

I want to take full advantage of my ADSL to download legal hebrew learning programs.

How is it legal to have LOTR and Spiderman and such on your computer while the movies are still in the theatres? Buddy of mine was telling me about it and I was just curious.

To sum it up: It isn't :)

Legal? I don't know the meaning of that word anymore. ;)

There's nothing I love more than seeing this on my movies:

"Property of New Line Cinema. Screening copy only. Sale or rental of this copy is ILLEGAL."

Ah I see... I bet you scum are all the same bastards that posted piracy is wrong!!! Bad bad bad!!! :p

Yeah, I used to say stuff like that. But I just stopped caring somewhere.

www.neo-mods.com is a cool file sharing program.
I also get a lot of TV clip from there like the Late Night with Conan O'Brien one I got with the "for me to poop on" dog going to a screening on Episode II. 10 minutes of laughs!!! :)

And the Derek Smart's Desktop Commander vid from www.somethingawful.com
