Turns played (only 5, sorry). It seems like the previous player is building up to go attack other Civ. IMHO, it is not needed. Instead I would suggest moving the current stacks on boats to the north where Shez can be found.

Anyway, we got the pentagon and I razed one Yaqob and one Pacal city.

Seeing that we're somewhat short on players and the game is drawing to the end I played 20. There was a lot of action :D :

Battle Stats:
Units victorious while attacking : 52
Units victorious while defending : 12

That makes 64 kills at a loss of 24. Most of those were Cannons though, so we don't have lost that much units.

I don't think we need to rely on a time victory - I believe we're still in for a Conquest Victory. We have superior units, and with Bombers coming soon it will be an easy mop-up. The AI can hardly withstand our troops even now.

Actually this screenie is wrong. I didn't burn the city but kept it as Airbae for Pacal's lands. I already have some Fighters in those two cities for fending of the Airships.

Our army is driving into the core of both. I don't thibnk they'll stand this much longer as we're more powerful than Pacal and Sitting Bull combined :eek: . I have a bigger army going north towards Shez. It will join with the Army assembled there, hopefully we can get this done. Maybe we need to upgrade the Airships to bring him down to half. Then drop all the Cannons and all the Units...

Machine guns are tough nuts to crack. Two cannons and a cavalry die here.



I land a small force near the beast.



We now have 5 :mad: from Emancipation unhapiness. I know GreyFox will whip me but I up the culture slider as we have 5-6 unhappy faces in every city.

Culture bomb our foreign city.



I also use the GE for Broadway.



Obviously you can't air attack once a unit has lost a certain amount of strength as he attacked twice IBT and is down to 13.6 strength and I can't air attack.

No unit will give me more than <0.1% so I don't know if I can even scratch him down. Actually first attack takes him down to 11.2. I'm now up to 0.3% chance of success :lol:. Next 4 units die without making a mark :mad: but slowly he gets more and more injured. I finally defeat the beast but no fair maiden to rescue. :confused:



I was hoping for a free worker at least. :lol:

I keep Uxmal (missed screenshot) so we can put more planes and drop more troops in the front line. I've been using paratroopers to drop outside the city as the planes bombard to 0%.

We now have 85 turns left. We have completed our first task but can we conquer the opposition?

The beast conquerers are back to move to whatever front is deemed necessary.

I started trying to up the happiness so we can lower the culture slider but that air drop feature just got too tempting at various stages so wasn't so successful. :p
 
Great work, Ozzy ! We have accomplished the quest of Shez (I don't really know what is happening with those barb Great Persons. I've edited Shez in thrice, and every time she disappeared after some time. Well, no biggie. We've done it !) and therefore the game is on hold until I put up a new save - which will be tonight.

I noticed earlier in the set that she was now a Great Artist and I was pretty sure that in an earlier screenshot she was a Great Merchant. She was there the turn before but honestly didn't check the turn I slayed the beast. Maybe they bulb the Great Person for a tech.
 
Is tycoonist still AWOL ? If not, then he's up. If yes, then you are up again. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I'VE POSTED A NEW SAVE IN ANY CASE !
