Its odd, but over the last few monthes I've sort of got the impression that das is pretty smart . 'sides Non-native speakers often have better grammer and syntax than native speakers after learning the language in a much more formal setting...though they often have trouble keeping up with a native speakers speech. I occasionaly correct my friends spanish grammer, but unless they talk about 5 times slower than normal I can't make a head nor tail of things...
