Just need a quick confirmation if it's true or not. I'm guessing the answer is false, seeing the version numbers in the topics of the PBEM sub-forum. I have a few 3.17 BTS games going on and upgraded to 3.19 due to a fresh Win 7 install. The games were able to be opened and saved, but after one rotation, I always get a password prompt for the previous saver.
Do PBEM games work with newer version?

they should work, however if the pbem was password protected on the old version it won't unless you load it in the old version, unprotect it then patch then load it again in the new version and reset the password. This is because the protection attempts to ensure that no game files are modified while you play the game...
