Warum?!?
Ok, whenever people try to explain to me how to change terrain or do something else mod-like, I always get confused, so If someone would have the dedication to make a step by step process of how to add new terrain, cities, units, other graphics using screenshots, I think that yes while that would be time consuming to make I think we would also get a lot less "how do you...." threads(sorry if this is in the wrong place I thought it should go here since it was about this kind of thing)

Not in wrong place. You're good.

Using pictures... I don't have time for that.

But I did write a pretty good tutorial on how to add a unit.

But terrain, the simplest thing is to paste whatever terrain PCX files you want into a terrain folder in your Scenarios/ModNameFolder/Art folder.

There are step-by-step tutorials for just about everything, some with pictures and some without (IMO most don't need pics if they are well-written). I think the problem is that most people start asking questions without first taking a little time to look for an answer. I answer most "how do you" questions with a link to the appropriate tutorial.

Just my 2 cents.

Ah.. I have such fond memories of La_Dav.

me conversing about you are??? ^^;;;;;;;;

haha.. yeah, i agree, for the sake of poor english speakers.

ya, know what your saying, but no one who knows how to add new graphics, heck I can can do the "How to add units" for Civ 3 vanilla, now we need people for "how to add new terrain" or " how to add other new graphis"(leader heads, city and tech grapghics,ect.)

But terrain is infinitely easier to add than units - you just put the files in the Terrain folder - no need to fiddle with the PediaIcons file or anything. If you can add units you can definitely add terrain.

local disc--> program files-->infograms interactive-->civilisation iii-->scenarios-->[mod folder name]-->art-->terrain

paste the files into the terrain folder.
thats how to make a terrain mod.
