You still havent answer my question, can you beat me at Battlefront2.I rulez!:ar15:

If Diablo 2 counts as an RPG, I play that as much as Civ. My kids got me hooked when it first came out and we still play whether they are home or away. I do not play on battle net though; The upgrade to ver 1.11 made things so much harder.

RPG games are my lifeblood.

I have played: FF1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, Crystal Chronicles, Morrowind, Fable, LoZ: Ocarina of Time, LoZ: Majora's Mask, LoZ Wind Waker and some lesser known rpg which are still great.

No Bioware?

I've played most of the FF's, FFT, Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, Morrowind, Suikoden III, Phantom Brave, DoaE, and a bunch of others. Sunk tons of time into Diablo II (and 1) back in the day as well, if that counts.

Birdjaguar: Didn't you say elsewhere once that you have/had like a level 70-something [necromancer?]? That's pretty impressive. I'd had a level 63 sorceress long ago (Frost Orb, of course, and Thunderstorm). Great game; so easy to sink time into. Good luck on your character!

Hell no!!! RPGs are the ONLY kind of game I do not play and never plan to play. I can't stand them and I can't stand how they deal with elves and crap most of the time.

I have a level 86 Paladin who wanders around Hell looking for items and trying to earn the billions of points necessary to level up and a new barbarian I just started who is up to level 40 and in Act III nightmare. My barbarain has benefited from all of my previous exploits (and those of my kids) and is overpowered so I play him as if there were 8 players in my party.

Level 86! Good god. Very impressive - I'd lost patience well before that with lazy deaths costing me a half-hours' experience gains. Did the same as you with a new barb (mine was only like level 35-ish), until I got tired of non-stop whirlwinds. Haven't played in years since, but that was certainly a great game. Again though, congrats on the level 86 Paladin. That is extremely impressive.

When Blizzard upgraded the game with ver. 1.10 and 1.11, they made hell much more difficult and added lots of new stuff. They made the game worth playing again.

Nope.

I don't play RPGs.

I don't own or shoot RPGs, either.
Shoot RPG's are waaaay diferent than just shooters because in shooters you have missions, your not on some fantasy journey.

My favourite ever was Final Fantasy III (North America)

Its also the best game of any genre I have evver played!

Other great mentions to:

-Final Fantasy 1
-Baldur's gate 1
-Chrono trigger

I liked it, but FF7 and 9 had me completely entranced.

But from what I see you never played FF3

By far the best of the series, you could get in on the net from an emulator site.

Well, to be honest, I never played the original version's, but i've played the GBA Dawn Of Souls versions.

What would be the address of such an emulator site?

Linked removed for unknowed US law..... Anyway, google emulator/roms should prevail ;)

For MODS: after checking, this is totally legal and not pirating as long as you agrre with the licenses and user agreements.
