Do you tend to overbuild or make new urban tiles?

Overbuild or expand?

Overbuilding is also a hidden feature 😄

Let me explain what I know in an example:
if you have a library which had +5 sci (2 base and 3 adjacency from 2 resources and a wonder) and a specialist with +3.5 sci (2 base and 1.5 from half the adjacency). Total tile is 8.5.

In the next age this tile goes back to +4 (2 library and 2 specialist)
Then you have 2 options:
1. Keep the library /w specialist +4 sci and find a new spot for the observatory with eg +2 adjacency for +6
Total +10 sci from 2 buildings
2. Overbuild the library with the observatory, would get the +3 adjacency back so +7 and the specialist gets adjacency back. So 3.5.
Total 10.5 sci from 1 building.

Of course if your second building also has +3 it would be 11 from 2 buildings or 10.5 from 1.

If there were 2 specialists it would be 12 from 2 buildings (or 13 with same adjacency) or 14 from 1 building.
Also remember that each building has a maintenance in gold/happiness.

So if you have good adjacencies you better overbuild to get the same/better yield with less buildings/maintanance and stronger specialists. Especially if you add +adjancency policy cards, which effectively increase the building and the specialist.
If you dont overbuild the specialist and obsolete building just sit there without adjacencies costing food/gold and happiness.
