Does anyone know how to trigger all leader quests?

But researching Astronomy doesn't trigger the narrative event or any of the subsequent quests, I tried all four! Is there any chance you could double check this one please?🙏

I was having this exact problem last patch. I can trigger the above narrative event with advanced start in Exploration Age along with the other subsequent quest A Single People, but still cannot trigger The Enemy Advances after pillaging a tile. Based on the quest's narrative text for The Enemy Advances, I think you may have to let your own tile get pillaged for the quest to trigger?

Edit: Confirmed. The Enemy Advances only triggers if your one of your city's tile gets pillaged. This may be a bit tricky to complete since the AI civs don't often pillage. Here is what I did: Advance start in Exploration Age, get the +1 city at the beginning, Free Astronomy Tech (for the prerequisite quest to appear), 2x ranged unit bonuses, rest can be anything. Settle your city anywhere). Next turn for the rest of the map to appear. If an hostile IP doesn't spawn near or if there are navigable or mountains between you and them, restart. They usually spawn 1 man of arm that you can kite back to your city (so get your kiter commander the ignore terrain promotion). Declare war on anyone that tries to clear those hostile IP and only kill the civ units, do not kill the hostile IP units.

If you want to look at the game files, you can check in Base/modules/age-antiquity/data/ for narrative-stories-gameeffects.xml (there is also narrative-stories.xml but the actual information is mostly in gameeffects). By finding "XERXES" you can see the quest chains 1180, 1181 and 1182 apply to him. If you then look for those quest chains numbers, you can find the requirements (REQSET) and the rewards (NARRATIVE_MODIFIER) in different parts of the same file.

To find the in-game text for those narrative events, you can look in the "text" instead of "data" subfolder of age-antiquity for NarrativeStoriesText.xml and look up the same narrative IDs.

There are similar files under the DLC (instead of Base) folders for the leaders/civs introduced via DLCs.

Is there any way to edit this file? The prerequisite line for Charlemagne's Spark Of Imagination (1059) is mispelled as Electricty. I was wondering why I can never trigger it despite researching Electricity and having done multiple science quests.
