I've seen a hell of a lot of good suggestions on here, I'm wondering if Firaxis is listening. Or are we on our own....

Just look at some of the names who browse this forum. Consider some of the things that have been put in patches.

I can't guarantee what they read, but I would bet that some of it has been seen.

i think they do in fact. the scenario editor most of us have begged for is finally close to being released and although we'd think it was long overdue, let's just give ourselves credit for once.

I'd like to state publicly that there is no proof whatsoever that I read this site on a regular basis, and anyone who says differently is bluffing.

It's too bad that they stopped short, with a little more work they could have made a very good game into a GREAT game, it could have been a classic.

Take a guess.

As for Firaxis. . . I am convinced they read the good suggestions here - and then do the exact opposite. :(

Why should I think otherwise when they did exactly that for Civ 3 despite five years of great forum ideas for a proposed Civ 3 after Civ 2 came out?

Mike B. of Firaxis has given us some very useful information, and has caused some planned changes in a future patch, based on some recent forum discussions.

Firaxis does read, and I think they do what they can to make the game better. Some changes are easier than others, and some suggestions would please some and anger others.

Gastric, few posts don't mean anything, if they listen that's a lot more than what you'll usually find in the business.

:godjob: Dan, :goodjob: Mike, :goodjob: Speedbump!

i just wanna bring this back to life since the stoopid forum melting for a day caused this to die.

The game's not finished yet. There's a new patch coming soon, an expansion pack in the fall, and no doubt a patch or two after that comes out. Plus they'll probably try to squeeze in another expansion set in a couple of years, after the scenario makers have given Firaxis some new ideas.
