Does Bloom kill resources?

I have not played FFH2 much but in my last 2 games I had the Leaves religion and in both I did not get Mithril or Blasting Powder. Then it occurred to me that I had spammed forests everywhere with my priests. Now in "normal" civ you would never get a forest in a hidden resource tile, but in FFH2 you can use Bloom for that. Will that remove the resource? I have never seen a resource pop up in a forest, but then again, I have not played too many games.

No, it won't remove it. Might make it hard to see though, especially if it goes ancient.

I've modded my version of FfH2 to be able to build improvements anywhere and even though I made camps only buildable in forests, resources will still pop in them.

Silk always starts out in forests.

Deer will show up in forests on rare occasions.

OK, badly phrased. I meant a strategic resource that becomes available with the appropriate tech. Uranium is the only one I know of but that is in an entirely different game ;)

Mithril is one that appears later on. But you needn't worry, even though you cannot see them, they are all there from the beginning of the game. Casting a forest on the tile won't change the presense (or lack) of Mithril.

Are you playing crowded maps? It's probably the curse of the reagents. Mythril and blasting powder are near the end of the list, I rarely see them in high density games. A tiny fractal with six sides almost never has any of those three. :)
