Their webmaster, Dan Magaha, checks in with us and gives us updates every now and then. They say that they check up on this stuff regularly, but it cannot be proven.

But Dan actually makes the rounds on a few sites e.g. Apolyton, CGN, here, so I don't think he actually reads many of the threads or has the time to do that beyond mere skimming.

I do the best I can -- CGN, Civfanatics and Apolyton are the three sites I try to make rounds on every week or so. I know it isn't much, but we are interested in what you have to say and we do want to let you guys know we appreciate your support.

Yes, they do. He explained before that Firaxis pays attention to our suggestions and ideas. That is, when they're good.

Hey, it's nice knowing that someone from the Civ team actually does check in occasionally. Naturally I understand there's just not enough time to check through every thread and comment on things, otherwise Dan would get absolutely nothing else done ( sleeping and/or eating i.e ). But still, it's nice that they care about us poor gamers...
