Does victory type affect score?

Hi All,

I am wrapping up GOTM 11 and am in a postion to chose between a conquest victory or a domination victory (I think I'll get to one or the other before time ends).

Does the victory type (assuming victory on the same turn for the comparison) affect the final score? Or put differently, are there different score modifiers for different victory types? I am already assuming that earlier victories score higher in general (or is that not really true?).

Victory type doesn't affect score. If you want to explore how to maximise score here's a thread with some discussion.

Thanks for the info and the link: very helpful.

Seems like late in the game, the marginal penalty for extra turns may be small, and perhaps it is worth taking some extra turns to get more pop, land, or wonders. Still thinking through the math, though.

I'll post other thoughts on this in the thread that you directed me to.
