I had never heard of it. It is a greek movie, and greek movies ussually are either utter crap (most of them) or too profound for the masses (films by multi-award winner in euro festivals Theo Angelopoulos are an example of that).
But i just watched its trailer:
Link to video.
Well, a few words about that.
There is very little to be seen in regards to the acting. In fact (i think) only one actor even speaks during the trailer. His accent does not convince me that he is a very good actor (i have never seen him again in anything either), since it mostly seems to be one of someone who does not really believe, or understand, the plot.
The story seems to be about a parent who tries to control his children, by telling them awful lies and later on torturing them. Interesting as a premise, but the trailer fails to show anything that could make me want to see it.
The film is a nominee in the category of "best foreign film" in the Oscars.
