Domestic Poll: Science Rate - 60% or 80%?

We are currently at 90% science and will discover Electricity in 3 turns netting 117gpt.

Dropping to 60% science will get us Electricity in 4 turns and net us 375gpt.

Dropping to 80% science will keep us on pace for Electricity in 3 turns and net us 204gpt.

We should do one one of these, but which one?

I'd go for 3. It keeps science up. It would throw some of our build queues off if we lowered it.

I'd go for 80% - We should get as much research done our Golden Age as possible.

I voted for 80% also. We need to stay a step ahead every chance we get.

I assume that since 100% was excluded that there is no benefit in raising it to that level....

If so, then 80% should be a no-brainer. Research accomplished in the same time frame, but with a larger income stream.... Sounds good to me.
